“All the way?” Larry scoffed looking at the store’s slogan. “To where?”

“Want to go somewhere Larry?” A whisper brushes his ear.

“What the–?!” Larry spins around at the unexpected reply. “Who’s there?!”

The few vagrants in sight briefly glanced in Larry’s direction.

“That’s just like you.” The voice says from within his head. “Always looking for an escape. Isn’t that why you spent your last dollars on that H?”

Sacked, divorced and now broke, Larry can’t argue with the taunting voice he recognizes as his alter, James.

“Escape Larry. I’ll take over.” From Larry’s mouth came James’s words.
